Founded in 1946 in a joint partnership between The Economist & the London School of Economics, we still hold true to those roots with an outstanding range of Economics books & specialist ranges covering all subjects studied at LSE (including Law, Politics, Philosophy, Business etc) We also stock textbooks for LSE Summer Schools & for those studying via the External Programmes. If you want to pay a pound less for your copy of The Economist, then buy it from us (£4)!
We also buy & sell second-hand textbooks and offer a loyalty card giving 10% back to students (or 3% to non-students).
We have changed a little in almost 70 years though, and are something of a hidden gem. We now have an excellent range of Fiction and Children’s books and regularly add newly published titles to our non-academic areas. Seek us out.
