Our friendly, experienced and knowledgeable booksellers are at the heart of Maidstone's bookshop. Your love of books is our business and we are proud to continue and renew Maidstone's bookselling tradition.
We have a passion for our town and our county, and this is reflected in the Maidstone & Kent section at the front of our shop, right next to the New Books and Bestsellers. Also on the ground floor is our wide-ranging array of popular and diverse Fiction, alongside the wonderful area for Children's books. This combines great fun, a world of stories; favourite characters old and new and an excellent education section.
Throughout the bookshop, you will find much more than books. There's stationery, gifts, greetings cards and board games, just for a start. Pride of place on our upper floor goes to Kent's best cavalcade of Science Fiction, Graphic Novels and Manga.
We love our Non-Fiction and have made a point of assembling a brilliant range of books on British and world history. This floor contains all you'll need to read to learn to cook, play an instrument, learn to drive, or to draw, or to teach, or just about anything else. And if we haven't got it, we'll order it for you.
Our shop hosts a thriving account sales business where any school or other institution with an account receives discounts on most books. Please don't hesitate to get in touch.
