A favourite amongst the international community of Brussels, our shop has a long history of providing the locals with exciting reads. The bookshop first opened in the 1920s as a W.H.Smith, famous for its tea-room, trading books, magazines and stationery. In the 1940s, it was taken over by the Germans, soon to become an officer's mess when the Allied Forces liberated Brussels.

In 1997, it finally became part of the Waterstones family. Today we are a destination shop, specialising in English-language books, magazines, but also DVDs, Gifts, Stationery, British food and seasonal products like Easter eggs and Christmas crackers.
